Accessibility Commitment
Last updated: June 10, 2026
We aim to make Benchmarq.io inclusive and fully navigable for all users, including those relying on assistive screen readers, keyboard-only controls, or high-contrast screen configurations.
1. Conformance Standard
Our design systems and interface components are built to target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance guidelines. Key accessibility features include:
- Skip-to-Main Link: A keyboard-accessible link at the top of our layouts to let screen-reader and keyboard users bypass navigation sidebars.
- Header Hierarchy: Restricting pages to a single main h1 element, ensuring a clean, logical outline hierarchy.
- Descriptive Input Annotations: Providing explicit labels or aria-label tags for form components and search inputs.
- Contrast & Dark Mode: Tailoring tailwind colors and theme CSS variables to pass standard AA color contrast checks in both light and dark variations.
- Interactive Selection States: Implementing clear visual and screen-reader accessibility labels (aria-selected or aria-current).
2. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Benchmarq.io. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers by emailing us at support@benchmarq.io.
